1997 my paper folding passion was born!
In the last year of my studies I was looking for relaxation, intellectual challenge, creativity and mental recreation. So I bought a Dutch book called "Alles over Origami" by Zülal Aytüre-Scheele and I saw that the art of paper folding correlated with all of this!
1998 I became a member of the Dutch origami association, called OSN - "Origami Societëit Nederland".
1999 first of my models were published in the ORISON, the official booklet of the OSN and in the convention book of the German origami association, called "Origami Deutschland".
1999 some of my models were shown in the great exhibition of the Tokyo Origami Association organised by Fumio Inoue.
2000 some more models were published in the ORISON.
2001 I took part in the origami x-mas tree project in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Also in 2001 models were published in the ORISON.
This year I developed my hundredth model!
2002 some more models were published in the ORISON. E.g. my crane box, my chest box, my fire tree for Christmas!
2003 I made an inventively break in developing new models.
In autumn I started programming my OrigamiWorld Homepage and I brought it online in December 2003.
2004 my new cd-album for 5 cds were published in the ORISON.
I recherched my possibilities in publishing an origami book, full of my models. But I have seen that it is pretty difficult to do. A lot of persuasion and work, without salary really!
2005 I took part in the International Origami Peace Tree Festival and Project Spring in Germany, organised by Origami Münster and Münster Adult Education College. I taught my boxes in a workshop, with great success.
In October four of my models were published in the german book "Das große Lichterbuch"!
In spring 2006 we started our (private) origami group Cologne/Bonn.
After that I learnt how to draw professional diagrams.
In 2006 I developed new models, too.
2007 I had my first exhibition of own modells in Cologne/Germany.
In 2008 some models were published in the BOS Convention Pack. I fold many models, but I do not creat new models.
Since 2008 I am not any more member of the OSN.
In 2009 I started a little book with diagrams of my favorite models. Furthermore I fold things for friends around the year like easter, birthdays, xmas and others.
2010 was a very calm origami year, nothing special, but some pretty folds like before the big bang.
2011 was the year of the stars, the gallery is bigger than ever!
